I am coninstently scoring around 60% in the mocks i have taken so far.
Quant is my weaker area. Grammar is good, but RC not so good. Struggling with Algebra and Geometry. I am really dedicated to get 99+ score, but self preparation seems so montonous because of no motivation. How do turn things around in the next 3 months.

Kanika Kamra, a SIBM AlumnaReading Comprehensions can include topics from any phase of life; be it arts, philosophy, medicine, politics, economics or business. So unless you are able to comprehend the para, you will not be able to answer the questions confidently. To achieve that, you need to inculcate the habit of reading, especially the newspaper. Try to read articles from all sections of the newspaper rather than those which you are interested in. With less than 3 months to the D-Day, you must practice atleast 5 RCs per day and increase the number to 10 per day slowly. Also develop your own strategies to solve the questions. Algebra and Geometry can be improved with regular practice. In fact, you must try and attempt the easy questions instead of wasting time on the difficult ones. At the end of the day, how you attempt the paper makes all the difference. Learn all the shortcuts and tricks to solve questions and master the areas which you feel comfortable with. Do not move ahead without analysing each mock. You are your own motivation! Think of all the good things that can happen once you get into a reputed B-School; the salary packages, the environment and most of all the respect. Set daily goals and reward yourself for every goal accomplished. Go out once in a while to get a breath of fresh air. You still have time to turn things in your favour. Good Luck!
